Prodigy

A math game that has content from all major topics based on Common Core Standards for students from Grades 1 - 8.

My demo slam video is on a Math technology tool called Prodigy. In Prodigy, teachers has a dashboard to manage signing topics for students to work on based on standards such as Common Core and monitor student progress.

This is a great way to provide a different platform and way for students to be engaged in Math practices. It is a role playing game that students have to level up by answering Math questions. Students can customize their character in the game and have a better ownership. There are mini lesson that goes along with the Math questions as well. One good feature the game has is that there is audio that reads the direction in the game.
